How does the LogonBox VPN work?

Our VPN works by integrating seamlessly with your Active Directory or online user directories such as Azure or Google. The LogonBox VPN is easy to use and also requires no configuration.

Can I use the LogonBox VPN from anywhere in the world?

Yes, you can. Because our VPN requires no configuration, this means that users can access the VPN from anywhere in the world – ideal for those who might be working in remote locations, or need the extra layer of security if only public WiFi networks are available. Thanks to its simplicity, little training is required to use the LogonBox VPN.

Why do I have a static IP address with the LogonBox VPN?

This is an additional security feature. A static IP address means that you are in control, wherever in the world you might be, your IP address won’t change.

Can I add new users to the LogonBox VPN?

Yes, you can – and it’s easier than you think to do so. You can simply add extra team members or additional users by integrating with your existing on-premise or cloud user directory. We offer role-based access, so you can onboard your team very quickly and efficiently.

How does the WireGuard VPN enhance my security?

The WireGuard VPN uses asymmetric keys stored on the users’ devices to authenticate the user on the network.

How does LogonBox enhance my security with WireGuard?

WireGuard uses asymmetric keys to authenticate users on the network, but LogonBox VPN takes an extra step here and rotates the keys to increase security. We do this by following cryptographic best practices, intending to provide the most secure online experience for our customers.

Does the LogonBox Authenticator cost extra?

No, it comes as included in our LogonBox VPN package. This is because we do our best to keep you and your users safe online.

Can the LogonBox Authenticator work with external solutions?

Yes, it can be integrated with other applications outside of LogonBox, helping to provide a more secure experience.

Can I download the LogonBox Authenticator onto my smartphone?

Yes, you can. It can be downloaded via the App Store if you have an Apple iPhone, or via the Google Play store if you have an Android.
